According to the International Energy Agency (IEA), new EV registrations in Europe reached nearly 3.2 million in 2023, marking an impressive increase of almost 20% from the previous year. Germany alone saw 500,000 new battery electric vehicle (BEV) registrations in a single year, while Norway stands out with EVs occupying a staggering 95% market share. By 2024, the EV market share in Europe is expected to reach around 27%, with shipments projected to grow to approximately 4 million units.
